ACME tank couplings for LPG

ACME Tank couplings like "Filler Valves" and vapour equalisation valves are frequently used in hose operated LPG transfers and provide fast filling for mobile tanks and above or underground stationary ones.

Product description

ACME tank couplings are male threaded devices that are installed onto tanks to facilitate a secure one directional flow of media during filling and prevent gasses from exiting unintentionally by the incorporation of a back-flow configuration.

  • Filler cap made of resilient molded plastic to contain the large pressure and protect from water and debris entering the tank
  • Long-wearing gasket permits hand-tight connection
  • Safety groove is designed to sheer below ACME thread, leaving the seat assembly intact and unaffected in the case of pull-away
  • Seat disc is made in an extra thick synthetic rubber to extend the life span

If vapour equalisation is necessary, a double-check vapour equalisation valve is installed, instead which has an added 'nose' that opens the check valve and allows the equalisation of pressure in the supply and storage container
