6. Transfer of your personal data to a third country (outside of eu/eea)
MAKEEN operates globally. As a result, we may transfer personal data to other countries. However, in some situations, we may also need to transfer data to countries that the European Commission has not determined to have an adequate level of data protection, including:
- USA
MAKEEN will ensure that such transfers are carried out in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and are protected by appropriate supplementary measures. Transfers to countries outside the EU/EEA may take place if the recipient adheres to the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses, a copy of which can be found on the European Commission’s website here. Transfers to the USA may also be based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, if the recipient is certified under this framework. We transfer your data to Meta, Inc. (Facebook), Google LLC (Google Analytics), Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft 365), Intuit Inc. and The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a (Mailchimp) which are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. In other situations, the transfer may also take place based on other transfer mechanisms under GDPR Article 46, such as binding corporate rules. Please contact us if you wish to receive a copy of the standard contractual clauses we have in place.

- In certain cases, you may object to our processing of personal data about you, especially if the processing is based on our legitimate interests and in connection with direct marketing.
