Pressure builders, also known as pressure boosters, are designed to increase the pressure where cryogenic demands are higher than the natural productive capacity. The series available are great for microbulk tanks smaller than 2,000 L, pipelines and liquid cylinders.
Cryogenic applications with specific requirements relying on high precision pressure control and flow capacity will benefit from the use of a pressure builder. The building of pressure happens by extracting liquid from the tank bottom and transferring it through a coil that is soldered to the outside of the tank.
