MGE Portugal recognised as top SMEs for the fifth year in a row
MAKEEN Gas Equipment Portugal has once again been recognised as one of the Top 5% Best SMEs in Portugal by SCORING, marking the fifth consecutive year the company has received this distinction.
The recognition is based on SCORING’s ScorePME evaluation model, which assesses companies on economic performance, financial soundness, and consistency. To qualify, companies must achieve a Performance and Financial Soundness Index above 80%, resulting in the rating “5 – Excellent”. According to SCORING, this distinction is awarded to fewer than 5% of companies in Portugal.
In addition to the Top 5% recognition, MGE Portugal has also been named one of the Top 10 companies within its activity category. This distinction is based on the Economic Quality of Sales indicator, which combines financial soundness and annual turnover. According to SCORING, the Top 10 distinction is awarded to fewer than 0.5% of companies.

The award is issued by SCORING, a Portuguese company specialising in financial certification and business evaluation. Its financial certifications are audited and certified by external entities, including SGS and Bureau Veritas.
